Who says you need a museum, art gallery–or even civilization–to experience an out-of-this-world design getaway?
Just a hop, skip, and two short flights from SF, arriving at the remote Southern Utah digs of Amangiri Resort feels like you’ve landed on planet Mars or some ancient expanse where dinosaurs used to roam. (And crazy enough, it actually is the extinct critters’ old stomping grounds with 160-million-year-old footprints and fossils unearthed in the region).
But while the dramatic rock formations and stark desert landscape look frozen in time, the hideaway’s modern, minimalist architecture and seamless indoor/outdoor design is anything but dated.
